Why the final price may vary
- •Intake door orientation: A door fitted horizontally on top of the chute is the standard option. If you prefer a vertical door mounted on a wall, a 90° bend is required — this adds £190 to the price.
- •Ceiling height & discharge point: The ground-floor ceiling height and where the chute ends affect the total length of pipe required. For example, a 3.3 m ceiling (common in London properties) with the chute ending 1 m above the floor costs approximately £250 more than a 2.3 m ceiling where the chute ends 500 mm from the ceiling.
